When I design this, it was not intended for silk fabric, instead it was for chiffon and with soft colors, too...but I want to keep learning sewing silk fabric... I like silk already...but to sew it...it was still an exhausting...sometimes, it was not about the process, but more about "the mental", psychological thing...I always felt tired first even before cutting...that's why, i want to get to used in sewing silk fabric... My silk succeed projects were actually 3 but seems like the first project was broken because I sew the button not attached to the lining, too, instead only to the silk...and the silk is thin and lightweight (although it wasn't sheer)...and may be, it was stucked somewhere or I moved too much then the button broke the silk fabric... After making this orange dress, I feel that it's not that frustrating...The silk that made me frustrated, but not the process while before, I thought it was the other way that made me frustated...I'll keep sewing silk fabric until I get used to and fall in love in it...I think my next project, won't be "learning" projects but rather "real" project...must set up in my head about this to make my projects better, and better, and BETTTTTERRRRRRRR...(^.^)  cherio, |
