I've been interested with obitsu and looking for it's information for last few days. It's very interesting that it's hard to find a COMPLETE information for beginner. Like comparison, size, etc, etc. Seems like the fans have gone to the advance steps like face up, dress making, etc, etc.

Doll is not always for dressed up or collection or toy. In my case, I'll be using mainly for drawing modelling. I saw my favorite series: Sergeant Keroro and in an episode there was an obitsu showed up. I wondered if it was sold "limited" to art-student. I didn't know it's actually a "collected" item and sold to "public" not to just artists. I thought i was going to use Blythe but it's too small. Somehow, I found this Obitsu. I'm glad I didn't decide to purchase petite Blythe right away. I don't need Blythe for my need.
I like Obitsu more than Barbie. I can't pose the Barbie moreover, the Barbie body is odd. I have one. You can also find Barbie & Obitsu comparison in flickr (not mine). I forgot the link, though. Even so, it's easily searchable by using keyword like obitsu comparison or obitsu.
