i was having lack of sleep-time this week...i thought i was going to take some sleep after my husband left to work...but i didn't...
i had to make a pair of baby booties for my friend...i thought this knitting pattern is great...it's cute and quite easy...i thought so because i read it fast...not detail...until that morning, when i was planning to take some sleep, i thought i wanted to test the pattern...if it IS easy, then i'll go sleeping because if i can made it until 3/4 pattern within 1-2 hours, then i could finish them in the afternoon or night...
Then i found myself had a little bit difficulty in reading it...well, i've never made socks before and this pattern, i think, uses the socks-making technique for making baby booties...CRAZYYYY...and it's knitting with 4 needle...and there was a point that 1 needle was needed, and i don't have the 5th needle for the size i was using...
I was panic then i grabbed my japanese crochet book...i just thought, ANY JAPANESE CROCHET BOOKS!...and i found baby booties in there...this time, i watched the pattern...ok, easy...this is easy and FAST...i made it...and within an hour 1 shoe of a pair was done!...fiuhhhhhhh....but i couldn't sleep anyway because i must go to the bank do this and that...when i got home i still have to do this and that...but finally, the booties were done...i made them twice because the first pair, i thought they were too small...so, i made them once again larger...
When i met my friend, she carried her baby in her arm, and when i saw the feet, it was tinyyyy...haha...so, the first size was the correct one...but that's ok...i'd rather to give her larger size...at least it will be fit when she's a little bit grown up (^.^)...
I didn't take the pictures of the booties i gave her...but i still have another pair that i'm going to take the picture of...i will give these pair to her, too...Just wait, i'll take the picture after i do some finishing work...i didn't finish it when i saw and thought,"it's too small...there's no way, her baby's feet will fit these booties..."...(^o^)
