I love bags so much...i made this design on my last vacation...the idea came from these words: Fun, Cute, Girly, and Different...
I'd been watching that some bags are well quite alike. I wanted to see a different style...Here's the design sneak peak:
I'd been watching that some bags are well quite alike. I wanted to see a different style...Here's the design sneak peak:
That's the basic form. The development came 2 days ago (Sunday 20 July): the side look, the front look, the back look, the whole details...and the pattern was made yesterday night (21 July)...
It was looked easy...i meant, i calculated the difficulty level would be at this that this that parts...but really, the side part... i thought it was the easiest part but tonight, that was the most difficult part...because i attached the pocket there...and i also made it quite different from what i always did before...
Some learning that i got from today's sewing is:
1. Know my sewing machine limit. If this bag is sewn with the style and technique i just did, i would need tougher sewing machine like Janome. Home Industry's sewing machine but surely not a Home sewing machine...Boy, my hand is in pain now because i was holding tight the bag when sewing it...
2. But if i still want to do it with my own Home sewing machine, so...i must put extra energy and patient when making it...extra time will be required...
3. Well, this is normal actually, and getting normal: First finished project of th projects that i design my self doesn't always succeed...(^.^)...It's not like sewing using other designer's design and pattern...Sometimes, i must make an adjustment...doesn't have to change a whole look, but a little bit adjustment to make the result prettier and easier to sew...(^.^)
Just like on this design, some adjustment will be made on pattern and design's details. There are some reasons for doing it and one of them is the no.1 i was talking about: Sewing Machine limit (^.^)... if i push my self, the result won't be looked neat
The first bag is still in the drier and a new adjusted-bag will be made tomorrow...I'll take a or some pictures of it and will explain it more here...
