I don't know what to do for my sewing fashion project...I'm lack of fabrics for my R&D projects...
I grabbed my hook and started to remake a hat...a funky hat...
I chose colors: Pink and Light Blue...I didn't know what i chose those colors...may be because the colors are fun...
When i made the hat, i ruined my self...couldn't concentrate...but after trying again, it's done...
it's strange...first i made this hat with wool i bought from elann.com (forgot the type), it was too small...i've used a bigger size hook than the book said...it was very-very tiny...like a kid's hat...
but this time, i made it with country cleckheaton (my favorit) from Knittingyarnshop.com.au ...it was fitted well!...i didn't change the stitches number or modify the pattern...even i modified my first made after i finished the hat and the hat was too small for me...and even i modified it at last, it was still small...and the hook i used, it was a smaller size that i used for first made, but still bigger than the book said...
I don't know...really-really don'ttttt knowwwww what happened...
My analysis as an amateur:
I used one of elann.com wool long-long time ago (before i made that first-hat)...the wool, when i knitted into slippers, the slippers turned out to be small...and when i washed it with cold water, it was still felted by itself...i didn't even handwash it...but it turned out to be a felted (lucky i only make half pair...hehe...)...but when i changed to again, knittingyarnshop.com.au's wool, it was fitted...again, i didn't change a thing from the pattern...
The type of the wools are different...i tried to noticed more by looking the wrap paper...but both said: 100%wool...so, i'm just (@.@) ...confused...
96 chains for a start
1. First made : the edges couldn't even meet when i tried to fit it on my head!
2. Second made: the edges MET perfectly...i mean, it's a little bit stretchy but that's correct...because if it's too loose, then i'm doomed again (^o^) ...
It's almost 11.00PM now...my husband is sleeping cutely...can't help me take the picture, yet...

my sewing project????...buhuuuuuuu...i just buhuuuu...i'm going to another island for vacation...actually, my husband's vacation...he hasn't had his vacation...me?...of course, i'm with him...i don't want to stay in this mountain alone...i guess, i'll be resting for a while from my sewing project...nooooo...i plan to continue my R&D project on my vacation...it's a good chance because there are plenty of sources like fabric stores, sewing supplies store, etc, etc... just in case i make a mistake again, i just run to the stores...besides, i'll be having a lot of choices of R&D fabric (fabric that is cheap but quality are not bad...usually local cotton or cheaper cotton)...that's one thing i can't do here...
