I like shopping from internet because sometimes, I get what is not available in my country. After shopping for may be a year or almost, I find that some sellers quite "confusing" themselves in pricing their goods...If it's a craft, I can understand playing the price high and low...because pricing handmade sometimes is very subjective...but supplies?...I don't know...i think supplies can be priced objectively...once you price, don't play the number unless you mention: SALE or DISCOUNT (price was....)... Even sometimes, I found that like 1/2 yard is more than 1/4 x 2 of quantity (^.^)' ...ahhhh... I also find myself almost got priced 0.5 more before listing (^.^)'...I almost bought the stuff... I also find that my candidate of favorite seller raise the prices now...I don't know, economic condition? No, I don't think so...Recession started before I started from her...and within 2-3 weeks, the price is going up...Now...she is not my candidate of favorite seller... I like this kind of sellers...sellers who are: 1. helpful... 2. trustworthy...I can feel one of my seller sincere in doing business when making confirmation and conversation...I won't give any negative feedback although I don't receive my stuff when they do sincere and care conversation...once, i feel they don't care and I don't receive my goods, negative feedback will be sent right away 3. very nice and great in handling complain...I found a seller that can turn my complain into a help...she didn't return my money, instead, she offered me to use insurance (of course cost is on me)...Of course, I took her offer...somehow, I know that she is very genuine...I really wanted to come back and shop from her...Now?...I shop from her very often...she is my FIRST destination when checking out new supplies... 4. consistent...not changing the price or giving the price illogically. 5. giving discount when I purchase more...for instance: 1/4 yard of fabric = 5USD, then 1/2 yard will be 9USD...I love it when my seller do this...of course, I'm a minimum 1/2 yard buyer... 6. giving me some gift...may be ribbon, or other discount, or some fat quarter...of course, I do understand, there's a minimum shopping amount for that...but...last time I shop a lot (more than 50USD), I got nothing (^.^)' ...I also shop some big amount from other seller but I don't want to say any "complain" about this gift...because, she got me 3 THREE, can you imagine THREE????? great fabrics for me...she even gave me option to choose (there were more than 3 fabrics) before listing...what an honour I got...This opportunity is my bonus already...She is my favorite, too, now...her store is the second store (sometimes the FIRST, too (^.^) ), I always check out when looking for new supplies... Some sellers have unique fabrics but if I find the price is like unreasonable like keep changing or suddenly raise the price or too expensive at the beginning, I'd rather shop another fabrics and of course, from another store... Sometimes, it's not always about great or cute fabrics and price...the attitude of the seller is also important...all are important...quality of the supplies, price and attitude...all are important for me... I'm so lucky now, I have 3 favorite sellers in my list...I won't call them "sellers"...I would like to call them "supplier" because I want to keep shopping from them again and again... (^.^) |
