I've been working on this bag lately...I made it as a waist bag, a bag that i've been wanting. Haha...
First my definition about partition bag: it's a bag that has partition, separate zipper. So, not 1 zipper and we open the bag and there are partitions....instead, it's 2 zipper or more and each has their own 'bag'...so, it's like joining some bags into 1.
There are some tricks to do it:
1. The partition start from the main outiside body itself, like my bag here.
2. The partition is made inside aka with lining! So we made the partition using the lining...this one, i'll be working on this on my next bags that i will sell in etsy or my own store.
The second trick (perhaps) can be used for making bag with Bag with 1 zipper but the inside is partitioned, too. So, instead of making pockets, we make partition or perhaps, middle pocket. Perhaps? oh, it's because i haven't tried it myself...hahaha...I will do it later...not my short-term target, though...besides, i don't really a fan with a bag with this kind of partition. I have long time ago, school bag, with 1 opening and partition inside (like 'file' bag)...i hate it...i really hate it...I don't know...i just don't like it...(>.>)...I like the style of the bag, but not the partition...
I like partition bag like my waist bag more...2 'bags' or more, joined as 1 bag...I don't know, I prefer this...it's like, each stuff is more well-separated (^O^)....preference, people...preference...
but for wallet , I like that kind of partition...1 opening, and partitions inside...May be, if i make one, i'll make it as a wallet, not as a bag...
I'll be concentrating in waist bag or smaller bag from now on. I want to 'press' the shipping cost (smaller stuff ==> smaller package, cheaper cost...) as well as give more 'cheaper' price option to 'try' my work...People may not buy my stuff if it's too expensive and first time...add that with the fact that I'm from asia... A lot of people expect Asian's stuff is cheaper...haha...well, sometimes, i just think, crafters here are too generous, though...they give too many discount (^o^)''''...yes, it's undervalued. I want people to understand that. A lot of 'ordinary' skill full people here. They don't have big company, don't work for big company...In my case, i just want to appreciate my own work. I know where i stand...shipping cost is envitable...yup, it's fixed, set by the post office...but the labor?...it's set up by me...(^.^). I've discounted myself so far as I live in a better town now...so, I adjust to the situation as well...
My first waist bag has marked my 2010. It's my first waist bag as well as first bag I made in 2010. This little thing has inspired me and challenged me to improve my skill as well as 'trick'...hehehe...This bag also inspired me to create smaller yet cute fun and unique style of bags for my store...I love this.

I don't make resolution for 2010 for my bags...because i was at the bottom point of my business (TxT)...but when doing this project, i felt enlighted...
So, if you are feeling clueless right now, just do whatever you want to do...Do your 'dreamed' project you've ever wanted to! I didn't think of business when doing this bag, I just want a waistbag and i want to be able to make partition bag. PERIOD! after making, I see a hope there...
I'm not succeed my self in this business, but i hope i can still encourage my skillful fellow (^.<)...I believe there are so many skillful crafters out there still waiting to get a chance to prove themselves...I also know, some people are 'afraid' with good work..i just don't know why...but i won't degrade my quality, i won't decrease my labor work (i believe with that rate of mine, i'm quite cheap...haha...count that it's my own design and pattern...and i do it myself)...but i will present another option to 'try' my work...again, i won't do simple work anymore without any 'signature' of 'me' there...
