I just found this...seems like i'm having the problem not with sewing technique but with fabric! I used drill that time unlike my previous doll pants which were cotton (non stretch) and stretch jeans...It was ok with those two and i thought, drill would be a little bit thinner than jeans but thicker than cotton thus there should be no problem...apparently no...I don't know..I was using the same pattern but not the same fabric...with either sewing technique i mentioned in my previous post, still, it looked pulled up (or side)...but not really like that when with jeans and even cotton... (@.@)
I'm quite confused now but I'll just stop using drill for a while...
May be the 'direction' of the fiber doesn't suit small scale...I've never noticed myself when using drill because i made my own drill pants a little bit bigger, not too fit...
